Barcelona, 13th October 2010 - The American multinational Molex and La Salle Campus Barcelona have reached an agreement to develop and promote interested students who have demonstrated high academic achievement yet possess limited financial resources. These students are participants in a unique English language program in Catalunya leading to a Business Management degree at the Business Engineering School at La Salle. Local and international students from more than fifty countries have enrolled in the program to study the management of business and technology The Molex Scholarship initiated at the start of the current academic year covers all educational costs for an upper level student throughout their studies until completion of their degree, Graduate in Business Management and Technology.

As part of this initiative, university students from La Salle Campus Barcelona will also be able to carry out remunerated internships at the Molex’s local offices in the European territory. Additionally, the Molex Mentoring Management scholarship will offer the opportunity for two students from business studies to accompany the Molex European Vice-president in his professional activity.

Ramon Ollé, Executive President of La Salle Business Engineering School, believes this cooperation agreement is a good example of collaboration between the university and the private sector business world, promoting talented future business managers.
