Do you see the Elephant? "Al Filo de lo Imposible"

Montserrat is what you see in this picture. However, it is not just an image of rocks. All those rocks that you see have a name, do you see the elephant? Yes I am sure you can see it. Montserrat is a Catalunya icon. It is also one of the beloved places for people that love climbing, hiking and nature in general in any of its forms. You may ask, what is the relationship of the elephant with Business and "Filo de lo Imposible"?

That's how I link all of this, sometimes we forget why we setup a Business! I may be wrong, but a business is setup to provide value to the society. For me, it means to create products, services... something for people, since we are just people. Business must also create a robust environment sustainable for all employees. Running a business is a tremendous responsibility. Not only you are in charge of providing value to the society but also you are responsible for having a healthy economic business that gives employement to people that have families!!.

And with all that mess, there are people that decide to create a business and to move forward! On top of that, those people have to deal with problems, with daily decisions which may be good or wrong... not an easy work.

Running a company takes a lot of commitment, it takes a lot of effort, it takes a lot of work as well... Don't know exactly what it takes someone to decide creating a business... What I know for sure, in case we can, we must do whatever we like, whatever it makes us happy.. and we will for sure give better value to society. Probably in this case, it will be easier to deal with problems that may arise, they are always there to challenge us!

And here it is when it comes "Al Filo de lo Imposible", it is a program bornt in 1982, tve, with the objective of filming the most incredible adventures taking place around the world. Camaras of this program have filmed climbings to the most incredible walls, 8000 meters and any other adventures of any kind.

March 24th, Thursday, Sebastián Álvaro who create the program will hold a Conference on what it means this experience. With him Esther Sabadell, filmer and climber will join the conference, and Ramon Portilla, first Spanish Climber in climbing the highest mountains worldwide. Not only they created a new business, they created a business based on what they like. Even of being aware of how difficult it is to climb a wall, they were and are aware of how important is to personally grow by getting to know ourselves better and better, specially when we are under tough situations.

I believe their experience could sketch a future picture for all future business people. Running a business it also takes to get to know ourselves to be better for others and ultimately to have a successful business.

That rock is an elephant, is more than a rock. It is a name, is it a symbol on something that you care, that you like? yes I think so, do you see it?
