La Salle alumni: What are they doing now?

During this semester, I have worked on building a database with information about BES La Salle alumni. Even though I have not been able to reach everyone, I have gotten some interesting insights about the alumni who graduated between 2009 and 2013. These people have turned out to be a very diverse group, who are present in at least 32 different areas. Sport is the industry where the biggest share of the La Salle Alumni have ended up, but many also work with marketing and advertising, in the automotive industry, in the hospitality industry and with information technology and services. Below you can see a table with all the different areas and the number of BES La Salle alumni working in the area.

As for locations, the La Salle alumni who graduated between 2009 and 2013 are originally from 22 different countries and five different continents, and now the alumni we have been able to locate are present in 17 different countries across North America, Asia and Europe. However, what is probably more interesting is that only 36 of the 76 alumni we have been able to locate are actually working in the country from which they originate. La Salle for sure develops international workers.

Instead of listing all the companies who has employed former La Salle students, here are some examples:

And to mention some of the positions obtained by the former La Salle students:

  • Account manager / Account executive
  • Pilot
  • Founder
  • U21 team manager
  • Investment analyst and project developer
  • Business analyst
  • SAP consultant
  • Marketing manager
  • Content manager
  • Head of recruitment
  • Pricing manager
  • Key account manager
  • Purchaser
  • Communication manager
  • Inside sales representative
  • Commercial director
  • Business development manager
  • Junior broker
  • Swimming teacher
  • Sport and competition management coordinator
  • Research analyst
  • Business intelligence executive
  • Conference coordinator
  • Video game Project Manager

The positions of the group vary, with one alumni working as a pilot, one working as an English teacher and one working as a swimming teacher. However, the majority of the students are working in the corporate world. Several of the students have set up their own companies, have been co-funders or have been accepted as partners. Many of the alumni also hold managerial positions.
