Case Resolution and comparison with Cisco

This is the final post of the course, I will explain how I solve the case study, the final integrated solution and how it differs from the solution of Cisco.

First, in order to design the data center, I read and understood all the requirements to know what is needed or not. Then whit the help of the posts and the talks with the profesionals, week after week I have been giving solution to small parts of the design. Finally I integrated all the parts in order to give the final solution.

Here we can see the physical topology of the data center. The servers are from IBM, the switches from Arista and the Firewalls from Paloalto as you know from the other posts. For the interconnection of two or more data centers it will be with leased lines.

All this equipment will meet all the requirements with the technology that they have, which is also explained in the posts.

The main diference beetween my solution and the solution that Cisco offers is that they have another network, with replicated equipment, for the storage of the information. In my design I only have one physical network for all, so I don't need more equipment and that suppose less costs.

I hope you enjoyed my blog and learned more about data centers.

Thanks you!
