Here we are another week talking about data centers!

Today we’ll be talking about how to implement our bank services and for that we’ll need servers, in our case we’ll be using Oracle’s devices. As we’ve said many times, all this infrastructure and devices are very expensive so we have to look for alternatives to reduce the cost but taking the maximum profit. So a solution would be the use of VIRTUALIZATION. This solution is quite appealing to 3^rd generation data centers and have multiple benefits.

Using virtualization we can have multiple services in the same device taking the maximum profit and efficiency to our recourses. As you can see the number of devices are considerably reduced, thus the investment in this field will be lower.

We can find different software providers but, maybe, the best known are VMWare, Microsoft and Citrix. But before focusing on which software provider will fit our requirements it’s important to choose which physical device will use on our data center.
