Hello everyone!

This blog is composed by Pol Samarra and Ares Argilés, students of Telematic Engineering in "La Salle BCN".
In this blog we are going to talk about how to design  a Data Center of new generation for a financial entity.
The objective is to learn and improve this project talking about some important points to do a good design of a Data Center, that are the following:

• Network Requirements: It is all that we need to make a redundant system, security backups, load balancing and the technologies that support a high quantity of traffic generated by the users and to be able to adapt to new technologies in the future.
• Quality of service: Network monitoring, centralized management and a good management of the bandwidth to prioritize the most important traffic how the user transactions.
• Security Requirements: Security politics, to protect us from external attacks, monitor the user access to the system and ensure the user traffic that it is confidential information, between others.

About the manufacturers that we use to make the CPD are:

IBM (Servers)
Arista Networks (LAN)
Paloalto (Security)

We hope that the project be useful to us, to improve our knowledge about the Data Centers and how to design it and at the same time for the people that are interested about this.
