Hermes CELTIC Project finalized with satisfactory results

Hermes CELTIC Project finalized with satisfactory results on 31 March 2010. On May 19 and 20 La Salle  hosted the Project Final Review with the attendance of the main partners, ALCATEL LUCENT Bell Labs (France),  Gemalto (France), Mines Paris The (France) , InOut TV  (Spain), Telefónica I+D  (Spain) and the reviewers Peter Herrmann (CELTIC representer) and Peter Feil from Deutch Telecom. CTMedia La Salle has developed different libraries and applications to generate metadata based on TV-Anytime Standard. Metadata generation has been used to catalog media contents manually and automatically from different terminals (mobile, PVR and PC) . The main purpose of metadata  will be to enhance PVR  user experience  by allowing him to find and consume additional contents from Hermes P2P media exchange framework , that his friends has been  shared  from a mobile phone or another PVR. CTMedia La Salle Usability Team has also worked in analyzing the HERMES prototypes , to ensure that the final product will be usable and accessible.
