Seminar on Real-Time Prosody-Driven Synthesis of Body Language

Next research seminar within the research group on Media Technologies will be the following: Title: Real-Time Prosody-Driven Synthesis of Body Language Date: Thursday June 10th , 12h Location: Media Dome Speaker: Adso Fernández Abstract: Human communication involves not only speech, but also a wide variety of gestures and body motions.  In this seminar will review the work of Real-Time Prosody-Driven Synthesis of Body Language  (Virtual Worlds Group, CG Stanford) . The paper presents a method for automatically synthesizing body language animations directly from the participants speech signals, without the need for additional input.
