The Board of FUNITEC, the foundation that manages La Salle Campus Barcelona, held last week the meeting that closed the academic year 2020-2021. The Executive Committee of La Salle-URL and the members of the Board evaluated the activity of the year and reflected on the evolution of the campus. Despite the challenges of the moment, the overall assessment of the course is very positive. The good work of the teams that make up La Salle-URL and the effort and involvement of all educators were some of the highlights during the meeting. Mention was also made of the great work of all the teachers, the research part and the transfer.
The meeting also served for the Board of FUNITEC to confirm the renewal for a new four-year term of the General Director of La Salle Campus Barcelona, Josep M. Santos, who was appointed as the head of La Salle Campus Barcelona in September 2013, taking over from brother Miguel Ángel Barrabeig Dols.
On the other hand, the evolution of the strategic plan that serves as a guide for the institution was evaluated during the Board and the official presentation of the annual plan for the 2021-2022 academic year was carried out. The Board also discussed about the IASlab project, which reinforces research on campus.
The meeting served at the same time to recognize the patrons who are ending their mandate this year: Rafael Salvador, Josep Vilarasau and Albert Faus. The three received the gratitude of all the members of the Board of FUNITEC and the Executive Committee of La Salle Campus Barcelona; In addition, they were given a silver La Salle pin and a link, the symbol of the union and the link between La Salle-URL and all those people who are part of the institution.
