The 25 students participating in "Crazy about New Technologies", in collaboration with the Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera, received their diplomas after eighteen Saturdays of intense work of all students.
The aim of this course is to promote the technological and innovative spirit among high school students, which allows them to get in touch with technological advances in the TIC sector (Information and Communication Technologies).
During the course classes have been taught in 5 different areas but with a common thread, new technologies: Web Development and Programming, Mobile Application Development, Robotics at the Service of People, Internet and Cybersecurity Technologies and videogames.
And the same Saturday the diplomas of the program "Talent and new technologies", a program of La Salle-URL where the Caja de Ingenieros Foundation collaborates, aimed at high school students with interest and a special talent for the world new technologies were delivered. In particular, ICT, and in which 21 young people have participated, the aim of this course is also to promote the technological and innovative spirit among students, seeing first hand what is the work done by an engineer in sectors of activity with a great development in the coming years and with a shortage of professionals throughout Europe.
The course has been developed in six sessions distributed in 3 technological areas: Development of mobile applications, Robotics at the Service of People and Internet Technologies and Cybersecurity; learning to program simple applications free tools, know the technologies that make the current connection possible and learn to create and control robots with different utilities.
