The Montjuïc site of the Fira de Barcelona has hosted a new edition of the Saló de l'Ensenyament, the most important event on educational orientation in Catalunya, between March 13 and 17. La Salle Barcelona – Universitat Ramon Llull has been present with a stand in the area intended for universities to provide information to pre-university students about the degrees offered, as well as all the services, organizations and activities that form part of comprehensive education and campus life.
The main training innovation this year is the new Bachelor in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The program arrives at a time of full technological revolution, in which artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping the beginning of a new era of profound changes. This new Bachelor is born thanks to the long experience of La Salle Barcelona - Universitat Ramon Llull in university education and research of excellence in technology and engineering, an area in which it is a benchmark with an innovative offer that fits the needs of the labor market and help to respond to the social challenges of the present and the future.
The campus trains experts in several areas of knowledge from its four centers: the School of Engineering, the School of Architecture, the Faculty of International Commerce and Digital Economy and the Faculty of Philosophy. Currently, nearly 6,000 students study on campus, more than 30% of whom are international, and approximately half belong to the different degrees taught. In addition, nearly 50% of new undergraduate students study on scholarships each year.
Innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship
The 75,100 m2 of infrastructure on the university campus, the 111 classrooms and laboratories and the 71 lecture rooms are the stage where the degrees are taught in the seven areas of knowledge that coexist on the campus, and which are a reference for their base technological and humanistic.
A pioneer in Catalonia in training in the latest technologies, La Salle Barcelona – Universitat Ramon Llull offers a comprehensive education to advance in the digital age, emphasizing skills and aptitudes based on essential values for the construction of a fairer and more sustainable society. The campus offers degrees that form key profiles for the advancement of the digital age, such as the Degree in Design and Creation of Interactive Products or the degrees in Animation & VFX and in Digital Arts, which have been consolidated as referents of the sector.
The Degree in Health Engineering and the degrees of the Faculty of Philosophy, which were integrated into the campus ecosystem in 2022, are also continuing to grow, broadening the transversality and perspective of the university. Pre-university students who visited the stand of the La Salle Barcelona - Universitat Ramon Llull during the days of Saló de l'Ensenyament also received information about the Architecture degree, which continues to grow thanks to its renewed academic program; and the Engineering degrees, which are the origin of the current university center.
