La Salle Campus Barcelona has organized 'Business Experience Driven by Technology, an Asian Perspective', an event that has focused on the international aspect of the institution and that has reflected on the technological, cultural and economic impact of East Asia at a global level. The event has been co-organized by Casa Asia and has served so that La Salle-URL students can get closer to the reality of the region and can live an educational experience that has complemented and enriched their knowledge about the sector.
The event, which could be followed in person and online, was held following all security protocols on the La Salle-URL campus and was attended by consular representatives from China and the general director of La Salle Campus Barcelona, Josep M. Santos, who have been in charge of opening the day. The director of Casa Asia, Amadeo Jensana, has moderated a conversation in which two Catalan and two Chinese businessmen have explained their personal experience working in these two parts of the world and have spoken about the growing importance of China (and Asia) from a geopolitical point of view.
At lunchtime, the La Salle-URL students have been able to taste the best of Chinese, Japanese and South Korean cuisine. Subsequently, through a series of activities, specific cultural aspects of the region have been made known: dances, Chinese calligraphy, the manga phenomenon, video game technology and taekwondo. As long as there were no crowds, all these workshops have been held in two batches, so that all invited students have been able to sign up for at least one of the activities.
