La Salle-URL starts the “La Salle Talent” programme for pre-university students

96 young people from 10 La Salle schools from all over Catalonia take part

La Salle Campus Barcelona has launched the 4th edition of “La Salle Talent” with 96 students from La Salle Barceloneta, La Salle Bonanova, La Salle Congrés, La Salle Gràcia, La Salle Horta, La Salle Manlleu, La Salle Manresa, La Salle Mollerussa, La Salle Reus and La Salle Tarragona.

The goal of the programme is to foster the technological, innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of high school students in order to motivate them in learning more about one of these areas: Technology, Entrepreneurship, Animation and Architecture.

The students selected to participate in La Salle Talent will attend three different sessions on a field of their choice: Technology, Entrepreneurship, Animation and Architecture. In the area of technology, it includes a workshop on hackers, app inventor methodology and robotics. The Entrepreneurship and Innovation programme will offer students the opportunity to learn about new business models and creating a start-up, market orientation and the connection with the consumer and innovation processes. In Animation, they will explore 3D modelling, texture and lighting for 3D scenes and 3D animation. In the field of Architecture, students will learn about: architecture and plastic activities, the creation of a sustainable model of city and “I will be a good architect”.

“La Salle Talent” will end on 16 February with a closing ceremony at La Salle Campus Barcelona where diplomas will be given to the participants.
