La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL has taken the first step in the process of taking its EduEmprèn project global, starting in Brazil. This project promotes social entrepreneurship among young people so they can become agents of social transformation. Two editions have already been held in Barcelona, Spain, and the latest one saw more than 1,000 students from 16 La Salle schools in Catalonia taking part.
La Salle-URL shared the methodology with La Salle Canoas University, which organised the first event with participation from 3 La Salle schools in Brazil: La Salle Canoas, La Salle Niterói and La Salle Santo Antônio from the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre - Rio Grande do Sul. Before this, La Salle Campus Barcelona offered training for the management and teaching team in collaboration with the local University, where they showed videos produced by the winning students of the last edition held in Spain.
This event is a major first step, and it is the goal of La Salle-URL to scale up the EduEmprèn project to schools all over the world.
