Students from different Masters of La Salle work together in a final project of a real case raised by a company

When working in a company, it is very common for different departments, sometimes very different from each other, to be involved in the same project and have to work together and in a coordinated manner to mange it successfully.

On this premise, La Salle-URL has wanted to promote this transversal side between its students of Master and has launched a project, in which students from different engineering programs work together in a final project, to resolve a real case posed by a company (called "Master as a Service"). In this way, the interdisciplinary competences of these students are enhanced.

At the beginning of the course, the students of different Master's programs were given the opportunity to take part in this project, specifically in the areas of Big Data, Digital Transformation, Smart Cities, Software Development, Apps design, High Performance Web, Cybersecurity and Multimedia Creation. On the other hand, different companies that already collaborate on a regular basis with the programs, posing a challenge but of a micro level that only involves a topic, began to think about projects that could have this multidisciplinary side.

In the end, a total of three Master Final Projects will work with this new methodology that is much closer to the business environment. The company CELSA has posed a challenge in which master students will participate in the APPs design and high-performance web programming; students enrolled in the Big Data and Cybersecurity Master will work in the case of AGBAR OYLO; and in the case of SANOFI, it will be students of Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity. The latter have explained the way they raised their participation in the program .

The students and teachers have explained us how they see their participation in the Máster as as a Service program.
