Mobility is changing the world – Reflections from MWC 2013

Mobile technologies are transforming our society, we are living in a decade of permanent change in the technologies we use to communicate and exchange information. The celebration of the Mobile World Congress has made of Barcelona the city that once a year gathers the organizations and institutions involved in this change, it offers a moment to review the current state and draw lines of future evolution for the mobile industry.  Now, Barcelona has decided to make a step ahead with the Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWCB), the objective of this initative is to channel the energy of the yearly event into a permanent organization to promote knowledge and solutions in the mobility arena. This initiative has been promoted by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Energy and Toursim, the Catalonian Government, the Barcelona City Hall, together with Barcelona Tradeshow and the GSMA organizations, and has already received generous contributions from industry partners.

We propose you to get to know the plans and future projects of the Mobile World Capital Barcelona, presented by Mr. Ginés Alarcón (Director of the MWCB Foundation) we will get a first-hand introduction and description of the initiatives that will be taking place in this and coming years.
