Illegal content in Internet

Recent study about illegal content points out that these sites generated 53 billion of visits last year.

On the top of these sites we can find RapidShare.com, Megavideo.com and Megaupload.com that generated more than 21 billion visits. These sites are becoming as popular as p2p to access to illegal content because users can download content right away from the server at high speed.

This number of visits does not mean necessarily downloads but points out the increasing popularity of these sites to find protected content.
