Yahoo could be on sale

Now that Carol Bartz has been fired and Tim Morse has became the new CEO, the rumors that suggest Yahoo could be sold have started again.

In 2008 Yahoo rejected an offer from Microsoft, now that offer is far away and obviously Yahoo will not be able to get another proposal like the one from Redmond’s firm. Microsoft offered $47 billion to get the control of Yahoo’s business, right now the company’s financial market value is $17 billion.

Yahoo has a lot of problems and they’re no longer a technology innovator, those days have gone.

So now it’s more likely that Yahoo accept a reasonable offer, remember Google payed a 63% premium for Motorola Mobility, so if Microsoft presents a $25 billion or so for Yahoo could be a very good deal for the company.
