La Salle Technova organizes the Start-up Connection Hub at the eDelivery Barcelona congress, a platform that is held within the framework of the SIL and that seeks to respond to the challenges of the future of e-commerce. La Salle Technova performs scouting, attracts and selects start-ups, invites investors to meet with projects, designs the directory of the best start-ups in the sector, manages the prize linked to start-ups and manages the forum on the day of the event.
This activity is a great novelty in the current edition of eDelivery Barcelona. The space will present the offer of 15 disruptive companies with solutions aimed at responding to the problem generated by the last mile. Startup Connection Hub will allow this type of companies to present their creative and innovative solutions in front of corporations from all over the world, investors and corporate ventures.
In addition, La Salle Technova will present a startup acceleration program, the eDelivery Accelerator. The objectives are the improvement of the ability to carry out business initiatives and start new innovative projects, provide the necessary tools to identify, develop and create market opportunities, learn methods to facilitate the internationalization of business initiatives, improve preparation from startups to investments, preparing startups to work together with companies and networking with potential business partners.
This program will involve 8 startups and will be focused on B2B and B2C projects and will apply technologies to traditional logistics processes, connecting with corporations and investors. The methodology will be divided into "training", "corporate" and "investors" and will last for 6 months.
The 2nd edition of eDelivery Barcelona Expo & Congress, which will be held in parallel to SIL Barcelona, will be consolidated as the meeting point to respond to the e-commerce delivery strategy of companies in order to put suppliers in contact , brands, retailers and e-tailers. The congress will bring together more than 50 supply companies, logistics, operations, technology, software, e-logistics solutions, services and sustainable products, consultancies, online payment companies and services derived from e-commerce.
