Once again, the city of Barcelona is hosting this year's European Blockchain Convention (EBC), the leading European blockchain event that brings together the main players of the blockchain ecosystem: corporations, agencies, investors, start-ups and developers. The third edition of the event will bring together more than 600 attendees from all over Spain and Europe, and will be held on 20 and 21 January 2020, split into two completely differently themed events.
The latest development this year is La Salle-URL's collaboration as Academic Partner of the European Blockchain Convention. On 21 January 2020, the Congress Hall at La Salle Barcelona Campus will be bringing together more than 300 attendees to enjoy RACE by EBC, an event in which the 20 most promising blockchain start-ups in Europe will present their projects to a professional jury made up of the main players in the blockchain sector, investors and large corporations.
The first day of the conference will be held on 20 January at the Hotel 5* Hesperia Barcelona Tower, and will feature presentations by more than 50 experts in the field. Slated for discussion are hot-topic issues such as the application and use of blockchain in sectors such as finance, logistics, maritime transport, the public sector, energy and insurance.
