Dr Emmanuel Calairo, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research and Dr Christian George Francisco, Academic Dean of La Salle University Dasmariñas, visited the Campus on 31 October.
The goal of the trip was to deepen the strong relationship that already exitsed between the two universities. One of the main interests of the Philippine representatives was the exchange of knowledge regarding research projects. They also expressed their interest in continuing to work together in exchanges for both students and teachers.
La Salle University Dasmariñas currently has about 29,000 students, from various disciplines such as Business Administration, Education, Architecture, Tourism and Hospitality and the Liberal Arts.
La Salle Campus Barcelona currently collaborates not only with the University of Dasmariñas, but also with the Universities of Manila and San Benilde. It has bilateral international collaboration agreements with all of them, which promote student exchanges, with two to four students going per year, and teacher exchanges, in the areas of Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Architecture and Animation.
