The URL, the sixth best performing university in Spain according to the Ranking CYD

Great results in research, international orientation and teaching and learning

Once again, the Universitat Ramon Llull (URL), of which La Salle Campus Barcelona is part, has positioned itself as one of the best university centers in Spain according to the prestigious Ranking CYD. In fact, it repeats the sixth position that already achieved in 2020 at the Spanish level and is again third within the Catalan university system.

The ranking evaluates the universities by 37 indicators grouped into six dimensions: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation, contribution to regional development and job placement. Of all these parameters, the URL achieves 24 in high performance, above the average for universities.

The URL stands out, once again, in the international orientation, where achieves all the indicators with the maximum performance. It also stands out in the teaching and learning section (with six out of nine high indicators) and in research (with five out of seven high indicators). Both in knowledge transfer and in regional development, the results are also notable, with half of the indicators with the highest performance.

Ranking CYD

The Fundación Conocimiento y Desarrollo (CYD) is in charge of preparing the Ranking CYD annually, which this year reaches its eighth edition. To do this, 77 higher education centers in Spain are evaluated (89.5 % of the total), of which 48 are public and 29 private. In addition to the generic institutional evaluation, the Ranking CYD also presents lists by fields of knowledge.
