Intel will subsidize companies to build ultrabooks

An ultrabook is a notebook below $1,000. Companies are looking to reach 40% of notebooks market share by 2012.
Intel has decided to facilitate the production of new devices by offering cheaper chips to its clients.
The company recently launched some double core microprocessors for these devices.
Asus, Samsung, Acer, Lenovo, Compal and LG are producing this new devices.
