LG Optimus 3D: 3D mobile fever

LG presented in Barcelona a new smartphone with 3D display that can be used without glasses.
This movement is considered a high risk decision because the technology is not mature enough and it is still in a development phase.
In a 3D display without glasses users have to watch the screen in a specific angle to get a proper image.
Point out that Toshiba launched in Japan at the end of 2010 its first 3D TV screen without glasses and the results are not so good. Toshiba sold around 500 units of its new device.
The features of the new LG device are: 4.3” screen, dual microprocessor, Android 2.2, 8 GB RAM and it can record video or make photos in 3D.
The salvation for the device could be that user can change to 2D and it has same price of other phones without 3D.
We need to look closer these new portable 3D devices to understand the future movements of other big companies in that field. For when a 3D iPhone? We’ll see.
