Printing human organs

It’s still science fiction, but scientists from Cornell University (USA) said that the first step it is done.

Today it is possible to print 3D plastic components; the idea of printing organs it’s the same but instead plastic, the organs must be produced in biological materials.

Hod Lipson, director of the Computational Synthesis Laboratory of Cornell Univ., said that in the future every person could have a database with all his organs, make it through a scanner process. If an accident occur the scientists will be able to reproduce the same organ that we had before.
