Sharp abandons the production of PC and focuses on Tablet
Sharp has decided to abandon the production of PC and will focus the business in their Android Tablets.
This decision has been taking after predicting that it would be hard to have benefits in the PC section and it is supported by the high growth that the Tablet market has experienced lately. Sharp spokesman said to PC world: "Our intention is to shift from just selling the product to expand to the business model of contents services business in addition to e-book product sales". The company will center the effort in the forthcoming release in December: a new tablet named "Galapagos".
Although Sharp has left the production it will not leave their customers alone, the technical support and service will continue working in a normal way.
This shift to the tablet market gives a new impulse and emphasizes the force that this market has been experiencing lately.
