Silicon Valley comes to Barcelona, 24th of February, 4pm, at Barcelona Activa
"Silicon Valley comes to Barcelona" is an event designed to bring together students, entrepreneurs and investors from Spain and Silicon Valley. Speakers will discuss the differences between Silicon Valley and Barcelona, and by extension Europe and the United States, in terms of entrepreneurship. Some of the issues discussed will be what makes Silicon Valley so special and how we can create such a powerful startup ecosystem in Barcelona and in Spain. Through a series of speeches and panel discussions with leading entrepreneurs, facilitators and investors, both from the United States and from Spain, we will attempt to draw a road map for a “Silicon Valley the Spanish Way”. Speakers include Brad Feld (Foundry Group, TechStars), Michel Kisfaludi (CEO, eyeOS), Jose Mariano (Zero to Infinity), Jose Cobian (Tetuan Valley, Okuri Ventures), and many others. Beyond regular networking open to everyone, the entrepreneurs among you will also have the opportunity to participate in a speed dating with investors.
