La Salle-URL receives the XI OWASP Congress on cybersecurity

On Thursday, November 23, La Salle-URL will host the eleventh OWASP Congress on cybersecurity for the third consecutive year. The lectures, open and free, will take place in the Auditorium Room of the Sant Josep building. The day will begin at 9 a.m. with a welcome from the coordinator of the Master's in Cybersecurity of La Salle-URL, Jaume Abella, and will end at 6 pm with a presentation by Vicente Aguilar Díaz, president of OWASP.

Throughout the day, different experts from the sector will do a total of 7 conferences that will provide strategies and lines of defense to improve security in web development. OWASP has been consolidated as the national reference event on software security.

Those attending the event will be able to apply for the La Salle Scholarship - OWASP to the Talent in Cybersecurity, which is materialized in 80% of the enrollment in one of the masters: MCS (Master in Cybersecurity), MDPA (Master in Design and programming of 'Apps), Master's in Online Web Programming and Master's Degree in Digital Transformation Technologies.
