La Salle Technova at the Digital Enterprise Show - DES2019

On 22 and 23 La Salle Technova organized and collaborated two activities of great importance in the DES2019: DIH and DIH Summit

On May 22nd and 23rd La Salle Technova was present in the Digital Enterprise Show 2019 #DES2019, in Madrid. 
In the first day, La Salle Technova organized the Digital Innovation Hub. During the workshop were presented examples of how to create bridges between big corporations, investors, and start-ups, as well as disruptive digital projects that impact in large number of sectors. One of the examples was the contribution of Carlos Marquerie, Chief Strategy Officer of Moonshot, that presented the first digital platform that manage innovation ecosystems. In the next presentation, Jorge Martínez president of DEC, explained how Corporate Venturing is a tool for big corporations to collaborate with start-ups in an Open Innovation context. Dan Toma, the Corporate Start-up author remembered the audience the importance of managing innovation, and how to measure financial indicators during the process of innovation. Furthermore Itai Green, founder of Innovate Israel, presented 10 tips to help corporate to work with start-ups. Paloma Castellano, director of Wayra Madrid, presented the ecosystem that they had to help start-ups to scale. And the speaker Helen Hung inspired the audience asking them “Which are our responsibility as humans in a World in 2060?” 
In the event was presented a large number of digital start-ups such as Eurocybcar , YoDono , Nektiu, Atomian, Evosocialsoft, AdQuiver, Fundeen, Instead Technologies, mDurance, Svachat Technologies ,Muutech, Sigma Industrial Precision and much more . In the Innovation Hub, the audience found the future of innovation in the start-ups of today.

The second day, La Salle Technova Barcelona collaborated with the Spanish Association of Science and Technology Parks (APTE) to organize the DIH Summit (Digital Innovation Hub Summit). The goal was to know better the DIH strategy of the European Commission, including its DIH concept and policy to support this, as well as the introduction to the EU DIH community. The main panellists were Gabriel Rossola Joint Research Centre – ITPS and representative of the European Commission, Mayte Carracedo representative of the DIHNET, and some examples of Digital Innovation Hubs across Europe as TCS Toolmakers Cluster from Slovenia, Mittelstand 4.0-Kompetenz¬zentrum from Germany, and La Salle Technova Barcelona from Spain, among others. The Chairman of the workshop was Maurits Butter from TNO Innovation for Live.
