Relevance of the accredited alternative financing entities in the entrepreneurial ecosystem

On May 16th, during the EIX Public Financing Informative Session, Oriol Sans from Acció mentioned the relevance of the accredited alternative financing entities that support the Barcelona’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Investors networks’, like EIX La Salle Technova, represent 14.8M euros of the annual investment in innovative startups.

This statement shows the importance to be involve in an entrepreneurial environment such as La Salle Technova, that cannot only support the entrepreneur in initial stages of creation, but also, assist them in the fundraising process. This process tend to be very time consuming for the entrepreneur which affects the day-to-day of the startup, that’s where EIX comes in, helping and assisting them in the growth of the company.

Enisa, CDTI and ICF were also part of this event explaing their different instruments of public financing for innovating projects and technological-based startups.
