Training in Robotics for Infant and Primary educators in San Asensio

Along the same lines, Computational Thinking is considered one of the pillars of 21st century literacy and it is for this reason that NCA does not neglect this aspect in its application from an early age.
During October 20 and 21, the EduEnginy team of the Universidad La Salle Campus Barcelona, ​​made up of Elena Jurado and Roger Olivella, together with Xavi Canaleta as a member of the NCA ARLEP trust team, has conducted immersive training for a group of professors from the Bilbao de La Salle sector in the necessary skills in this area and thus be able to transfer these learnings to the classroom.
At the same time, this environment has offered us an ideal field to start research on the NCA model, led by our Research Groups at La Salle Campus Madrid and La Salle Campus Barcelona.
In the most formative aspect, Infant and Primary teachers have had the opportunity to assimilate concepts and skills for their educational stages related to Scratch, Scratch Jr., Code.org, Lightbot Jr. or computational thinking unplugged (disconnected).
But NCA workshops are more than just tech workshops. They work on and enhance other skills such as cooperation, communication, engineering thinking, etc. In the end, workshops are an area where we promote pedagogical principles in a transversal way, such as the construction of thought, the social dimension of learning, self-regulated behavior and, even, the mind, body and movement connection.
The two training days have been carried out in good harmony and in an area of ​​collaboration between all the teaching staff of the different La Salle centers in the sector that excites and guarantees the deployment of quality in each of the educational centers.
