DiHola is a young Catalan startup that connects two or more devices through a simple physical gesture — you just need to shake your mobile. They provide a secure and flexible protocol, this technology can be applied in any form of data exchange: payment processing, file sharing, social networking, verification processes, etc. It is a connectivity and process verification software in different verticals by ultrasound.
Since August 2019, they are being incubated in La Salle Technova. Edgar Vicente, Iván Fernández and Juan Sebastián are the three founders. In 2017 they began their entrepreneurial journey in the development of DiHola, until they pivoted the company at the beginning of 2019.
The business model they use is hybrid, since they invoice SMB through the web platform, on the one hand, with economically affordable plans and through the use of their API. And, on the other one, they have a sales team that is dedicated to close large operations with larger companies and customizable plans.
DiHola needed an initial investment of 40k euros, which they allocated to the full development of the product. In turn, the startup has recently participated in the Conector acceleration program that helped them to "grow as a company”. The startup is currently closing its first round of investment of 120k euros, and a public loan from Enisa. In its remarkable growth, the company expects to close the year with a turnover of 100k euros.
