THE EDUEMPRÉN PROJECT STARTS THE SECOND EDITION WITH MORE THAN 1,000 PARTICIPANTS

Organized by La Salle-URL, through its innovation park La Salle Technova Barcelona, and the La Salle Catalunya, more than 1000 students from 3rd of ESO from 16 schools of La Salle in Catalonia will participate. The opening day of Eduemprén will consist of a presentation of the project and the winners of the last edition, as well as an inspiring presentation of the Fageda and a creative activity. The aim of the day is to stimulate the spirit of the social entrepreneur and enhance the role of students as drivers of social change.

Eduemprén is a program for the creation of social enterprises, organized by La Salle Technova Barcelona and promoted by La Salle Cataluña and La Salle-URL, with the intention of preparing young entrepreneurs committed to their environment, so that they can propose innovative solutions to social challenges. About 1100 students of La Salle de Catalunya, divided into groups of 3 to 6 people, will develop a social business project during the academic year, where they will have the advice of the Technova team that will travel to the different centres to do an assessment personalized.

The closure of EduEmprén will be in June 2018 when the different groups will have to present their project with an explanatory poster and to a jury that will decide the winners of the different categories.
