Welcome to the data center world!

Welcome everyone!

We are Guillem & Jordi, two students of telematic engineering in La Salle URL University (Barcelona) and we form the team named The Net Company.

In this blog we are going to explain various aspects about third generation data centers, while at the same time we design our own Data Processing Center (CPD). For the design of this Data Center we are going to use equipment from various manufacturers, IBM for the servers, Arista Networks for the LAN and Paloalto for security aspects. In a few posts later we also are going to compare the solution of our own CPD design (using different manufacturers) with a Cisco CPD design, showing the advantages and disadvantages of each other.
