2. Envia un tweet personal:  Nothing beats the personal touch. A brief note that expresses appreciation can brighten someone’s day and invite a friendship. 3. Envia un correo personalizado por email:  Take the personal tweet one step further by sending a note via email to express your gratitude. Make sure to mention specific things you appreciate about the person. 4. Invite them to guest on your Twitter chat Inviting community members to guest on your Twitter chat can be the perfect way to show appreciation for their engagement. Just make sure potential guests are sharing knowledge about a topic your community wants to discuss. 5. Envia un correo de agradecimiento  A thank you note sent via snail mail can be extra special to those used to communicating via online channels. 6. Envia un regalo vía mail de agradecimiento  I still have a soft touch for a trade show exhibit company that mailed me my favorite treat once for no reason except to thank me for retweeting their excellent content. 7. Profile them on your blog Do you want to get to know them better? Why not take the opportunity to share what you learn with your entire community by profiling them on your blog? You can do a quick video interview or just have them answer an email Q&A. 8. Make a public list of your top engagers You might want to use a site like Listly or create a list on Twitter. Whatever you do, make sure to notify those listed and promote the list on your social media channels. 9. Individual follow recommendations Follow Friday lists on Twitter are great. But an individual recommendation is more likely to make your valued community member feel special. Make sure to personalize it by explaining why you recommend the person. 10. Take time to have a Skype chat This one will take some time and trouble to set up and execute, but face a face to face meeting, even if only virtual, can go a long way toward letting someone know how much you value them. Online relationships that are extended this way have great potential to benefit your marketing (and even career) goals down the road.
