Increase in the number of students participating in La Salle Mobility Program

The Orientation Day for second semester incoming exchange students had place at the end of January. These students are part of the Mobility Program of La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL. This semester our Campus received 62 new international exchange students. In this event students received information about the mobility program, procedures they need to carry out for their stay in Barcelona, information on the city, about the Campus and about the activities taking place during their stay. During this academic year 2014-2015 a total of 148 international students will have followed part of their studies at La Salle, coming from countries like Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, United States, Denmark, Hungary, Sweden, Turkey, Germany, Argentina, Russia, Panama, Poland, Italy, France, Belgium and China. Almost half of them come from the Erasmus program, from countries within Europe, 70 in total. La Salle’s mobility program also includes bilateral agreements with universities outside Europe, with 67 students coming from these countries. Finally, 11 of the students received come from outside these regulated programs. It is also important to mention underline that 66 of our students have also followed their studies abroad during this academic year. These numbers underline the potential of Barcelona as a city, and specifically La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL, to attract the interest of international students to complete their studies abroad.
