La Salle student Marc Expósito, winner of the Imagine Express

Marc Expósito , a young member of the Seamless research group of La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL (currently pursuing a Master in High Performance Web Programming at the University) was one of the winners of the Imagine Express. Last March 3rd the presentation of the project had place at 4YFN within the Mobile World Congress. Expósito won in the social innovation category with the Project "Hybrid Play" (sponsored by Audi). Hybrid Play wants to recover streets as a recreational area for children: rediscovering parks by combining the more physical traditional games with videogames. The application has a technological device (a clip that is placed on different objects) that connected to the app is able to analyze, translate and convert the motion of this object into an educational game. Desirée García and Diego Díaz were the other two members of the team. Previously, in 2014, Expósito was already chosen to participate in the Apple World Wide Developers Conference in the United States. Imagine CC in San Francisco is an initiative created by the Catalan entrepreneur Xavier Verdaguer to find solutions to current problems through creativity and disruptive innovation and from challenges, talent and the Lombart working method.
