La Salle-URL hosts the IB World Student Conference 2015

La Salle Campus Barcelona - URL will host the IB World Student Conference 2015, between the 5th and the 11th of July. International Baccalaureate students (IB) from around the world gather at an international conference, held in a different country and University each year. This year, La Salle will receive 150 international participating in the conference that will focus on the topic of Technology in a Global Society, and how it has transformed the world around us and influenced society. Understanding how technology influences the way we live in today's world is crucial to becoming a future leader, that can make a better world through the application of technological innovation. The conference will provide students with a critical perspective on the use and impact of technology in today's global society. During the week, participants will explore the various forms of technology and experience the issue from the perspective of an architect and an engineer as well as from the perspective of a business manager or an entrepreneur, professional areas that reflect the 3 schools of La Salle Campus Barcelona. Furthermore, the practice in projects will be combined with the theoretical contents of experts in the field.
