On Saturday, February 20th, robots competition at La Salle

Next Saturday February 20th, robots are returning to the campus of La Salle-URL. From 10 am to 6 pm, there will be two robots competitions: robot competitions VEX Robotics Competition and ClauTIC Cup , where about 150 children and young people participate in different categories competing for various trophies in the two parallel competitions. In the VEX Robotics Competition, the local competition in Barcelona will have place in the Middle / High School (12-18 years) and University (18-23 years) categories and teams are formed based on alliances and compete in field game balls. The ClauTIC Cup targets students from 8 to 18 years in this competition confronts the best teams in their league in different challenges of speed and skill in construction. Moreover, during the day lectures and workshops will be held for all attendees. The first activity of the day will be the exchange of experiences among Clautic members, from 10: 30h to 11h, followed by a talk on 3D printing and Virtual Reality applied to education. In the afternoon, from 15h to 16h, an exchange of experiences by the students from the Clautic Videogames Club will have place, and at the end, the coordinator of Robotics La Salle-URL, Jordi Albó will show a sample of the La Salle’s Robotics projects applied to education. The event is open to the public who wants to experience the excitement of robots!
