RACC renews the collaboration agreement with La Salle Campus Barcelona – URL

The Director General of MicroBankAlbert López, and the vicepresident of the Fundación Parque de Innovación La Salle (La Salle Technova), Joan Campssigned the first collaboration agreement  with the finality of promoting the funding of business projects through microcredits. The signature of the agreement between the bank and the university center established new lines of funding aimed at students and graduates with professional and business projects, contributing to the establishment of new companies and self- employment. The bank will carry out a credit investment of up to a million euros. Applicants have access to social and financial microcredits of a maximum of 25.000 euros. Projects will have to have a business plan and a positive viability report from La Salle Technova that MicroBank will analyze before approving the request. From the start, MicroBank – working in direct collaboration with universities through agreements to promote entrepreneurship– has conceded 219.674 credits for a total amount of 1.324 million euros, making it the only bank dedicated to funding business projects through microcredits. Microcredits for businesses benefit from guarantee emitted in virtue of the General Program for innovation and competitiveness of the European Union (CIP). A programme aimed at small and medium companies, promoting innovation activities, helping to access funding and offering support services to companies in the European regions.
