The Audiovisual Cluster of Catalonia and La Salle-URL join efforts to push the audiovisual industry forward

The Audiovisual Cluster of Catalonia and La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL signed a partnership and a framework coop agreement to drive the audiovisual sector forward. One of the main purposes of this agreement is to strengthen relations between media companies and the university, leveraging the synergies between industry and scientific research. The President of the Audiovisual Cluster of Catalonia, Xavier Guitart, and the General Director of La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL, Josep M. Santos, formalized the agreement in a ceremony held at the university. Coinciding with this event, a breakfast-conference examining the business opportunities presented in this area also had place. The Digital distribution of content and how to monetize new consumption habits were the focus of the discussion moderated by the journalist Antoni Bassas . Other participants in the event were  Josep Monleón content director at WuakiTV,  Bernat Aragonés postproduction director at Apuntolapospso,  Ferran Clavell , responsible for Innovation and Future Media at the Catalan Corporation of Audiovisual Media and Dr. Francesc Alías, director of the Human-Computer Interaction area at Engineering La Salle-URL.
