Dr. Lluís Vicent joins the Royal Academy of Doctors
Dr. Lluís Vicent Safont, Rector of La Salle Open University (UOLS), will join next Royal Academy of Doctors the following 9th of July, as academic for the area of Andorra. Lluís Vicent is doctor in Information Technology and its Management by Ramon Llull University, and counts with almost 20 years experiencie as a university professor. Since 2003, he is director of the Blended Studies of La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL, and the research group in Technology Enhanced Learning. Since 2008 his work has been centered on the creation of UOLS, of which he is Rector. He is also the regional European director of the International Association of Lasallian Universities, an association that gathers the 75 Lasallian universities worldwide. It is an honor for La Salle for Dr. Lluís Vicent to be the representative of the Principality of Andorra in such a prestigious institution, that counts with members such as the doctors Federico Mayor Zaragoza, Isidre Fainé, Oriol Amat, Joaquim Barraquer, Santiago Dexeus and Josep Maria Gay de Liébana, among other personalities. The event will be held in the auditorium of the headquarters of Fomento del Trabajo Nacional in Barcelona at 7:30 p.m.. To attend this event please confirm, as seating is limited.
