Start of a new academic year at La Salle with the motto: it’s in our hands

The academic year 2014-15 has begun for most of the students in our educational centers of La Salle Catalonia. The motto "It's in our hands" encourages us to live this  start with hope. Hope that the world can be better, that people can create networks of solidarity and friendship and that education and effort are reasons for change and improvement. These days several events, prayers and celebrations around our motto are being held. At La Salle Campus Barcelona -URL, for example, students from the Undergraduate programs in ICT Engineering,  Architecture and Business Management  were welcomed by the General Director of the university, Josep M. Santos. In his speech, he encouraged them to learn a lot and to be supportive and good partners, as they are the hope for the future. Students have gathered in the conference room and the Director explained the meaning of the motto as well as the poster for this year. All students, coordinators of the different departments, teachers and university staff are called to be signs of hope for the world of today. It’s in our hands!
