Open Day of La Salle URL- Masters and Postgraduate Course studies

Last Saturday La Salle-URL Open Day took place to promote the University’s Masters and Postgraduate studies .   Workshops, conferences and round tables based on real experiences and success stories were organized, with the help of professionals and leading companies operating in changing global and technological environments. Several conferences around the Masters and Business Postgraduate studies were organized. Jordi Camós, social networking expert addressed the issue of how to act when facing a reputation crisis in social networks. Rafael García Monroy, teacher of management skills, explained the keys to being a good Project Manager. Finally, there was also a conference in which Ivan Gonzalez, Director of Pentheus and Associate Professor at La Salle Campus Barcelona, explained the radical changes that have occurred in IT. Conferences around the Masters and Postgraduate Engineering studies were also organized. Albert Isern, CEO of Bismart, addressed the issue of the change from Smart Data to Smart Cities, Big Data, Open Data and its opportunities. Around the Master of Multimedia three conferences were organized; Sergio Jimenez, collaborator of the Degree in Animation at La Salle Campus Barcelona and Executive Producer of boutique23, reviewed the analysis of the animation industry and its career opportunities. Xavier Tribó, Head of Technology at the post-production studio Glassworks Barcelona and director of Xavi's Lab, explained how to run a lab of technological innovation.  Arnau Gifreu, director of InterDocs Barcelona, spoke on Transmedia Narratives. In addition, Peter Candel, from Deloitte, showed the impact of the attacks in cyberspace at various levels of communication and the level of development and sophistication of attack tools that are available to any Internet user. Finally, a conference dedicated to the Architecture Masters and Postgraduate was also organized. Enric Peña, Coordinator of the Master of Science in Building Construction Management; Joan Olona, Technical Architect, Master in Architecture Technology and Master in Diagnosis and Intervention Techniques and Salud Juan, Interior Projects Coordinator, explained the personal skills to be able to explain, defend and communicate a project to sell it optimally. The day allowed the sharing of real cases and resolution of doubts related to decision making within professional careers.
