The research group in Media Technologies of La Salle-URL participates in Sonar & D with a final project on the relationship between objects and people

The Research Group in Media Technology of La Salle Campus Barcelona (Ramon Llull University) presents Adaptive Objects: Becoming friends. This project, developed within the area Seamless Interaction, reinterprets the relationships between objects and people to achieve a more human interaction rather than on the usual interfaces and functionalities. The investigation of a fluid interaction and the will to transcend the screen is reflected in all the work of the group. The project is divided in three parts: - Drawit it makes us forget the predetermined breaking schemes interfaces. Starting from a blank page, the user is able to draw the objects he wants to interact with and create interfaces and functionalities tailored to his needs. - Digital Sense endows objects of a digital identity that allow them to adapt to their environment and the people working with them. Each new interaction allows the object to learn and enrich their knowledge without losing user privacy. - Gaze shows how, at a glance, we can interact with the objects in our environment simultaneously transferring information. Adaptive Objects: Becoming friends gathers the most interesting results of the last year of work Seamless Interaction.
