La Salle-URL participates in a new edition of the National Model United Nations Conference (NMUN)

For the next edition in March 2016, La Salle-URL will be representing the country of Botswana. This year it is expected to organize a larger delegation than all previous editions, with 17 students. The team is composed by Judith Lopez and Pepe Seger as the heads of delegation and Arianna Gassmann, Josselyn Valarezo, Gemma Bosch, Ariadna Cuffi, Mireia Aymar, Celeste Domínguez, Kunal Kumar, Yazmine Azziman, Iñaki Morton, Marina Corral, Eulalia Clarens, Tilla Lonnum, Claudia López, Anna Gojenola and Ruben Ribes. German Aragon, Professor of the Degree in Management of Business and Technology is the coordinator of the delegation with the assistance from other teachers of the Business program. The last edition had place in March 2015 and La Salle-URL participated representing the country of Monaco, with eight delegates. Our students won the award of "Honourable mention delegation" for the whole delegation and two of them were awarded "Outstanding Position Paper". The National Model United Nations (NMUN) conferences are held annually in the city of New York. These conferences aim to provide attendees with a knowledge, skills and experience that can be applied during and after their college experience. Students of La Salle-URL have been participating since 2005, sending delegations representing countries as diverse as Nepal, Bahrain, Malaysia, Colombia, etc. Since the first conference in which La Salle-URL participated, more than 80 students have attended the prestigious conferences. In the last four years, these students have won several awards for best video diary of the conference.
