Pablo M. Vidarte will represent La Salle-URL in the Imagine Express 2016

The winner of the eighth Business Idea Contest, of La Salle Technova Barcelona was the Bioo team (www.bioo.tech), a project to create electricity through the photosynthesis of plants. One of its members, Pablo M. Vidarte, Multimedia Engineering student, has been the chosen person to be the representative of La Salle at the Imagine Express 2016. Imagine Express 2016 is a programme aimed to create business in the mobile sector with innovative projects created during a 4 days travel by train through Barcelona-Paris-London. Pablo M. Vidarte will a team of 36 dreamers (12 creative minds, 12 software engineers and 12 business students) as a developer. The 36 members of the team don’t know each other and will create groups of 3 people to generate apps in one of the four strategic sectors selected (Fin Tech, Water, Health y Iot). The ideas will be presented to investors in London and the best team in each sector will receive funding and advising to successfully develop their project. When they reach Barcelona, the teams will present their projects to the Mobile Word Congress. Last year, Marc Expósito, La Salle-URL student, participated and won in the social innovation category with the “Hybrid Play” project.
