La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL will participate in the 2016 program BIYSC
Next July a new edition of the BIYSC 2016 (Barcelona International Youth Science Challenge) will be held at la Pedrera in Barcelona, organized by the Fundació Catalunya - La Pedrera. It is a program of international scientific challenge that aims to connect the most passionate science students with the best researchers in this field. Students from around the world between 16 and 19 years can participate, the only condition is to be passionate about science. The challenges young scientists will face are working on international exploration centers based in Barcelona, developing their skills and knowledge and challenging themselves every day. LaSalle-URL participates with Bioinspired / Social Robots project and lot: an example of a Cloud Robotics System, coordinated by Jordi Albó. It consists of the design and implementation of a biologically inspired robot to solve a specific problem that we can identify in our society, appart from connect it to the network. The evolution has found solutions that allow organisms to perform complex tasks in a complex world, quickly and efficiently. Thus, new trends in robotics technology can not only develop robots that interact with people, but also evolve and learn from the interaction and gather information by lot concept. With this project, students have the opportunity to challenge the scientific future and also boost their passion with attitude. For further information go to www.biysc.org.
