More than 50 counsellors worldwide visit La Salle-URL on their trip to Barcelona for the CIS Forum

In the context of the CIS Forum (Council of International Schools), held in Barcelona, more than 50 counsellors from schools around the world visited La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL to discover the university, get to know its students and to learn about its methodologies of work. During the visit to the university they had the opportunity to discover La Salle's facilities and explore the innovation space 22@. They attend various conferences related to university, city and innovation, and meet and talk with responsible from the admissions department. The activities organized by La Salle took place on 15 and 18 November and were developed in campus and in different spots of the city of Barcelona. During the welcome journey of the 15th, 'Barcelona a city of knowledge, creativity and innovation open to the world' conference was given, where different speakers gave an idea of the city and how to manage innovation and technological revolution. The speakers of this welcome speech were Josep M. Santos, General Director of La Salle Campus Barcelona, Carlo Gallucci, Vice Rector of International Relations at Ramon Llull University, Pia Moret Garbayo, Head of the Office of Interuniversity Council of Catalonia and Josep M. Piqué, Executive President of Innovation Park La Salle Technova and President of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP). In addition, during the days that counsellors passed through La Salle also they had the opportunity to enjoy guided city tours and experience the culture with music and traditional foods. The CIS Forum, which was attended by the counsellors, is an annual global event on admission and selection processes at universities offering the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas on trends in post-secondary education in these processes. Therefore, the 50 counsellors who visited La Salle could complement their visit to Barcelona with a closer learning about college and functioning of the entire complex.
