La Salle collaborates with the Cluster of Energy Efficiency of Catalonia that rewards the university talent in the V Night of the Efficiency

The CosmoCaixa Barcelona will host next June 15 the fifth edition of the Night of Efficiency, organized by the Cluster of Energy Efficiency of Catalonia (CEEC) and with whom La Salle-URL collaborates. On this occasion prizes will be awarded to students of the various studies that are taught in universities and training centers related to energy efficiency in Catalonia. In this edition of the "Prizes for the best academic projects in the field of Efficient Energy", those works developed during the academic year 2015-2016 that have highlighted and shown their talent in innovation and engineering in the sector of the efficient energy .

Three categories are defined: Final Degree Work, Master Final Work and research (doctoral theses), all of which are presented, defended and approved during the 2015-16 academic year. The jury of the awards will be composed of the following awards: CEEC executive committee and representatives of UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya), UB (University of Barcelona), URL (Ramon Llull University), ICAEN (Catalan Institute of Energy) And ACCIÓ (Agency for the Competitiveness of the Company). The jury will select from among the nominations presented, the three proposals with the best evaluation of each category.

The finalists will participate in the V Efficiency Night, in which they will present their project before the audience in a speech lasting no more than 2 minutes. The prizes have a cash prize of 600€ for each of the winners, as well as a commemorative award. The awards ceremony will take place during the V Night of Efficiency event.

The Night of Efficiency has been consolidated as a meeting point of the main agents in the field of energy efficiency and positions the Cluster of Energy Efficiency of Catalonia as a platform of synergies between companies in the sector.
